Stages of David - Week 1

This week, we introduce a new series of messages on the life of David. We will dive into the stages of David's life as a shepherd, a fugitive, and a king. Week 1 begins with the story of defeating Goliath and how we often see David as the underdog. However, David never had the disadvantage, because he was under the covenant!

STAND FIRM

If we don’t quit, we win. Now is the time to stand, firmly planted, on the rock - JESUS. Standing firm in not a passive stance. Put on the armor of God — be alert, sober-minded, and watchful. Wait on the Lord and He will renew your strength!

Building Family Altars

Our missionary, Rhema, shares a powerful word before heading back to Colombia. Building family altars is needed in order for the next generation to experience the goodness of God for themselves. Our children need to be brought into what we're establishing in the Spirit, so they can have a personal encounter with Jesus. Rhema gives practical ways to bring your family around the table, to get to know the depths of your children's hearts, and to have God-moments together.

Captives For Christ

Although the message of sacrifice, taking up our cross, and self-denial, is not a popular one today, it is part of being citizens of the Kingdom of God. Life by the Spirit means we allow ourselves to be led as captives of Christ. Pastor David breaks down the teachings of the Apostle Paul on this subject in a powerful way. (2 Corinthians 2:14-17)

Hunger & Thirst

Those who hunger & thirst for righteousness will be satisfied. (Matthew 5:6)

Our spiritual appetites reveal whether we are on the trajectory of becoming or devolving back into infancy.
